About the artist
I am a fused glass artist local to The Solent which inspires so much of my work from Coast to Countryside. I love glass as a medium and believe each piece I make shows my passion with its individual style and vibrant colours. I am drawn to the coast and living so close, I am able to spend some time most days observing the changing colours and moods of the sea. This is my true inspiration and often features in my glasswork either through colour or coastal themes.
I have been playing with glass for a few years now and have been lucky enough to attend master classes by some very talented glass artists (Claire Hall, Bob Leatherbarrow, Alison Lowry, Amanda Simmonds, Saman Kalantari). I am still learning and have so many ideas inspired by the techniques I have learnt so far. Every day is a school day, so I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating it.
I am a member of the Contemporary Glass Society and also a winner of Theo Paphitis SBS (Small Business Sunday Award).
